Dollhouse
My life has been a whirlwind or activities, one of which was moving so I haven't had time to craft. But in other news, the hubby wrote an article about the television show Dollhouse which airs Fridays on Fox at 9pm/8pm central. The star of the show, Eliza Dushku (from tv show Buffy the Vampire Slayer and the movie True Lies which stars Arnold Shwarzenneger and Jamie Lee Curtis) has read it and called it the "best geek defense essay ever." I thought it would be fun to share with you so here's the link:

Stay in the car, Chuck!
Just a small plea...
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE help us save the NBC show Chuck. All you have to do is visit a Subway restaurant on Monday 4/27/2009. If you haven't seen an episode yet, you are really missing out - it is funny, witty, and action packed. Now, I do have a major crush on Chuck so that makes it even easier to watch but you can check out Hulu and watch any of several episodes from the current (second) season if you'd like to see what all the hype is about. And please spread the word. Thank you all in advance for your support.

You Were So Sweet
Yay! I got to make something again today! Ü That makes me happy. And on top of it all, I had a borderline migraine so if I can be creative with a bad headache, then all is right in the world. Anyhoo, just thought I'd share. I can't take all the credit as I was inspired by this design that I came across on the Oh So Beautiful Paper blog (and that author apparently got the info from here: source author/creator)
and here's what I came up with:
Can you tell what it is? I asked someone else what it looked like and they couldn't tell me right away and only knew what it was after I told them what it was supposed to be. Frustrating but good to know I should work on it more until I get it "right."
I'm heading to the beach tomorrow (technically today since it is after midnight) for my birthday. Yay! I couldn't ask for a better day - the sun, the beach, and warm weather. Perfect.
